Lucky is a black Labrador retriever who was found in the middle of a busy highway when he was only weeks old. He was adopted and later traveled to North Carolina with his "new owners". Lucky was filled with puppy excitement and so, while investigating his new home, decided to test the "highway" once again. This time however, he was not as lucky as the first time. He was struck by a passing automobile and ended up with broken legs, abrasions, and various other injuries. He was rushed to the nearest medical facility and treated. Lucky has fully regained his health, and has decided the highway is NOT for him.
