Sally Robie

...with her NFAA Outdoor National first place silver bowl  in the Womens Professional Freestyle division at Watkins Glen, NY. (2004)

It was very challenging shooting against two former champions during the five-day National Field Archery Association Outdoor National Championship at Watkins Glen, NY.

I really enjoyed shooting my Millennium Target scope with a 3/8 inch grind 8x Truespot lens throughout the indoor and outdoor tournament season.  Everywhere I shoot, people always ask what type of scope I'm shooting since they don't see a dot or ring --- then they end up buying one too!!

Mike Strassman

~ Winner of the Championship Senior Unlimited Compound
at Las Vegas - 2002 ~

Mike Strassman, shooting a 3/8 inch center grind Truespot lens, "Wow, what an exciting day! I am well satisfied with the clarity of the lens, it is the best I have found and believe me, I have tried a lot of different ones. I also enjoy the fact that I don't have to worry about finding a dot and getting it on the X!"

Goza Brothers Dominate 3-D Archery!

Joseph Goza

~ Buckmaster Winner 2001, 2002 ~

Joseph and Larry Goza are not only brothers they are both World Champions in Pro Limited. Joseph, the first one to ever win six ASA tournaments consecutively, plus ASA World Champion and Shooter of the Year. "It is an honor and it feels good to have accomplished so much this year, between Larry and I both we've won ten out of twelve ASA tournaments." Joseph regards Larry as his "mentor". "If it wasn't for Larry teaching me the tricks I might not have come this far." Joseph's advice for shooters, "never give up or get discouraged." Current plans for Joseph, "definitely deer hunting!"

Larry Goza

~ IBO World Champion 2002 ~

Fifteen years of shooting, two of them Pro, Larry Goza is an IBO World Champion. "I've had a pretty good year and I'm tickled with my IBO win," Larry said. Even with experiencing an incorrect scoring post at Snowshoe, Larry kept his nerves together and shot a great round to clasp the Championship. "I shoot for the fun of it and once the season is over I really miss the atmosphere, but I look forward to next year."  When asked how he felt about his younger brother referring to him as a mentor, "I knew if I could get him to shoot fingers, I felt good that both of us could be on top." Larry's advice for shooters, "Practice yardage, there were some shots that killed me because I didn't call the yardage right. It is the biggest thing." Surely, he and his brothers will be enjoying hunting and a phenomenal next year.

Diane Morris

Diane’s interest in archery began in 1993 when she decided to try deer hunting with  husband Johnny. She entered local 3-D tournaments to enhance her skills and shot in her first ASA tournament in 1998. She began placing in ASA tournaments in 2000 and won ASA Senior Women’s Shooter of the Year in 2001 and 2002. She also won the IBO Southern Triple Crown. She has used Bull’s Eye Scopes since the beginning. Her winning combination this year was Bull’s Eye’s Target Scope with a 4 power Dominator Lens. “I’m pretty picky about my archer equipment. Everything has to be just right. Even as my needs change, I’ve always found exactly what I need with Bull’s Eye.”

George Ryals

As if working full time for a major bow manufacturer were not enough archery in one day, George Ryals bowhunts and shoots competitively. Archery is a passion for this Walla Walla, Washington, Martin Archery advertising and public relations manager and it has recently begun to pay off in that small, extra percentage it takes to move someone from "close" to "Gotcha!"

Shooting as a professional in the NFAA Championship Flight since 1993, George Ryals has often tied for first place only to suffer narrow losses in inside-out shoot-offs. Perfect scores in the prestigious Las Vegas and NFAA Indoor events have occasionally meant second place. He is the only person who ever shot a perfect 900 in back to back years and still did NOT win Las Vegas, all that is changed!

At the 2001 NFAA Indoor Championships in Kansas City (March 31-April 1), George's end game luck did an about face and he captured the final shoot off for the first time at a major competition. At 20 yards, George shot perfect 600s with 120 Xs.

"Certainly, my Martin MV2 bow and my Bull's Eye Millennium Target Scope helped me overcome that final, agonizing step from finishing in a tie for first place to winning it all," George says. "The MV2 is fast, steady and well-balanced and the Bull's Eye Millennium Target with an 8X Bull's Eye lens is perfect for indoor shooting, because the worse the inside lighting the better this scope performs."

Derry Null

One of America's premier bowhunters and an archery pro shop owner as well, Ohio's Derry Null took his 160+ Pope & Young whitetail buck with an early, experimental model of the Bull's Eye finger-tip adjustable Simplex Hunter sight. "I drill out my peep sight so the aperture matches the diameter of the scope for perfect alignment," Derry says. "It's a can't miss set-up!"

Jeff Rogers

Jeff Rogers (left), from Lula, Georgia, has won the prestigious Las Vegas Archery Championships in the pro division for the third time: 1988, 1990 and 1998. Presenting him a victory check in Vegas, Bull's Eye President Clyde Hartsell noted that Jeff shot 90 arrows perfectly during the grueling three-day, 30-arrow-per-day shoot. "Jeff shot 62 Xs in the regular shooting and then shot six in the shoot off. I am proud he was shooting the Bull's Eye Pro Scope with the maXXis Lens.

Greg Pyle

~ #2 Indiana Record ~

Evansville, Indiana's Greg Pyle is one of those guys who stacks up whitetail antlers in the basement like they were cord wood. He keeps in shape by shooting 3-D tournaments during the spring and summer. Greg also hunts with a scope, unusual for bowhunters. "A scope eliminates any three-pin or four-pin confusion," he notes. "Because I use a low-power lens in it, the light-gathering coatings allow me to see clearly 15 minutes earlier and later than most bowhunters on any given day.

This 10-pointer was shot at 35 yards using a Bull's Eye Millennium scope with a 3x dominator lens (same setup as 3-D comp. bow).
P.Y. Gross 188 3/8 Green Score.

Randall Jones

~ ASA World Champion 2002 ~

New Dominator II Scope from Bull's Eye Sights & Scopes
is Big Winner on 2000 Competition Circuit

Shooting a manufacturer's sample of the new Dominator II Scope from Bull's Eye Sights and Scopes, professional 3-D competitor and World Champion Randall Jones won the 2000 ASA Men's Shooter of the Year award and shot his way to a World Championship as an IBO Senior Pro. "What a year!" Randall exclaims. "And I owe a lot of my success to Bull's Eye's new Dominator II lens in my Millennium Scope. It is ultra clear on the range, no matter what the weather's like."

Pat Dorigatti

Pat, who has been shooting for 30 years, 9 years as a NFAA Pro Freestyle shooter won the 2001 NFAA Northwest Indoor Sectionals and then, a week later, won the Wyoming State Indoor Championship. "I shoot the new Truespot Lens and feel it will revolutionize the scope industry!", proclaims Pat.

Pat also holds the State Indoor Blueface Record in the Bowhunter Freestyle Division as well as 4 out of 5 of the State Records in the Men's Pro Freestyle Division for Indoors (Vegas), Outdoors (Field, International and 900 rounds) and 3D (marked and unmarked).

Pat has been selected as one of the torch carriers for the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, UT in 2002.
